Beautiful, Go Get His Blessing

So you've been asking for deliverance for a while now. You've been begging for healing, restoration, peace, rest, a place where you can just lean your head and get a drink of water because you're tired. I know it's not your fault. You didn't ask for this, in fact you did nothing wrong to deserve this. You didn't put yourself into that family, your ignorance is not what caused your illness, that relationship is not what you prayed for, your low income is not what you've been striving for, those failed attempts at success is not what you worked hard for- but that's what happened... so what now?

Acts 3 tells of a beggar who could not walk since the day he was born. He was carried every single day to the temple gate of a place named Beautiful to ask for money and upon seeing Peter, one day he asked him for money. Peter, being filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, gave him something much more precious than silver coins, gold jewels, and plentiful food... He gave him what he needed, which was to walk.

Like that beggar, you may very well be in an uncomfortable situation that you did not put yourself in and if you're anything like me, you've probably been going around that situation to fix it. You've probably been asking God for the quickest, least painful way out of it or maybe you've ignored it altogether and focused on other things as if your problems don't exist. Tell me truly, does that help? Like the beggar you are longing for the wrong things; you've been praying only for what you want but not what you need, you've been pleading with God for the desires of the flesh and not the spirit. So now, you just need to step back and allow God to speak so that He can tell you what you need. It is now the time to reevaluate what you've been asking for so that you may question if it truly is the will of God. Maybe, just maybe you have not been receiving what you wanted because it was never what you needed and perhaps it would intensify your problems. Let the Spirit move so He may tell you His desires for your life. Rest assured that once He speaks, He will provide that blessing He has for you!
